[NOAA bullet] Where can I find out what the different CM2.x variable names mean?

Most of the CM2.x output files served on the GFDL Data Portal use the same CF standard variable names used at the IPCC/PCMDI archive (listed in their document titled IPCC Standard Output from Coupled Ocean-Atmosphere GCMs. When variables that are not included in the IPCC/PCMDI lists are served from the GFDL Data Portal, we adopt names that are generally consistent with the CF naming conventions. Complete lists of CM2.0 variables served both on the GFDL Data Portal and the IPCC/PCMDI archive can be found by following the table links found on the summary of data availability: by experiment web page.
